Nate Moonlighting the Barber Business

So I was totally inspired by Amy Bloom's post a while back about donating hair for Locks of Love. I tried to find a stylist in the area via recommendation but to no avail. I decided it was time Nate had paybacks on all the horrible haircuts he'd received from me. I put my hair into a ponytail while Nate took out the handy dandy scrapbooking scissors. Voila. Who knew his secret talent?? I hope someone will be able to use my 12 inches for a wig.

BEFORE
DURING
AFTER...

I feel like such a dork...Hey look at me, right? Ah well. Now you can see Nate's handiwork.

I haven't done my hair cute enough yet to post an actual after shot but you get the idea from the during photo. Umm...Nate did even it out so my hair is now quite a bit shorter than Katelyns.

Brave girl. I'm not sure if I'd let Cody cut my hair, even if I have given him some not so good haircuts! Oh Holly, what will we all do without you?!! I can't wait to see the after pics. I think I've only ever known you with long hair. : )

Pshh girl, you have to be the fastest blog response person in the history of bloggerdom. Way to go (oh and I first heard about donating hair from when Lisa did it 4 years ago).

You look GREAT! Shoulder length looks so good on you! And that is awesome that you got Nate to do it. Great times. :)

AAAAAA!!! That's a lot of hair! I would have cut it for you if could've but Nate did I great job. At first I thought Locks of Love donated the hair to cancer victims but then I learned that it was for people with more chronic conditions. Your hair is so beautiful I'm sure it will be well used and very much appreciated. Can't wait to see the after picture!

I want to see an after shot. How did the evening out go? Dan always wants to be the one to cut my hair. I better not let him see this post:) Way to go girl...your hair is gorgeous! (Long and short)
Oh, and your labor day trip looks like so much fun! I love that bike trail. That brings back memories of when Nate used to haul Annie in a trailer.

From what I can see it looks great. I don't think that I have ever seen your hair so long. Sarah looks like she is giving a thumbs up in the picture with the two of them sitting in the carrier. Oh, to be next to the wonderful ocean. Lucky.

Wow, you are a brave woman to let Nate cut it and even it out. :) It is a fun thing to be able to do though. That was one healthy looking chunk of hair. :) I'm glad to see your little family is doing well.

Wow! Nate did cut off a lot of hair! I really like the length though. I can't believe you just went to Monterey. I love that little town. I've been there many times and also remember driving to the Hurst Castle which wasn't too much farther, but not a fun place with kids. Your blog pics are darling! I am so impressed you took both little girls in the bike trailer, and with helmets. You are the cutest family... Well, I am way excited to see ya'll. Love, Beck
