Ward Easter Party and Easter Sunday

Being on the Activities Committee for our ward I have grown in awareness of what goes into planning such functions. It's a lot of fun though and well worth the efforts. The Kenney family in our ward owns Golfland USA and they volunteered the Sunnyvale facilities for our Easter Party. We had a younger kids hunt, older kids hunt, breakfast, and mini golf. I was in charge of the in between hunt activities. We made 13 symbols of the Atonement and Ressurection and sent the older kids looking to fill in the missing words on a scriptures scavenger hunt. There were coloring pages, Easter Sudoku, Easter Crossword Puzzles, Easter Puzzle Hunt (find the 6 pieces hidden in bright red buckets around the designated golf area). Lots of fun and while preparing helped remind me of the meaning of Easter.
For Sunday we colored easter eggs at home, opened easter candy, and spruced up in our new Easter ensembles. Nate and I substituted for Nursery and sent the toddlers on an Easter symbol in eggs hunt. We read about the Easter cookies and all shared a sliver of the giant hollow white chocolate bunny at the end. I am not sure who ended up having the most fun, me or the kids. Thanks Nate for all your help.

I love that Katelyn and Sarah have matching dresses. SOOOO cute! I tried to do that with Lexi and Mckell but I couldn't find dresses that were the same that were in their sizes :(
