Well Heather was right on top of things and sent this pic from the Turkey Trot we had at Liberty Dam. Katelyn wanted to push the stroller most of the way. Wasn't it such a beautiful day! This one is at the spillway of Liberty Dam.
Well basically my thoughts on "Turkey Trot"...is that on Thanksgiving you have a TON to eat and who wants to feel shame and glum the next day so...the Turkey Trot is some sort of exercise prior to the grand feast (or an actual organized race) so that you can break even at the end after sampling each and every pie with loads of whipped cream and not puke. We walked up to the Liberty Dam spillway which was 1.6 miles each way and then climbed up the rocks and rolled down the hills...we counted that since Heather and I are both rather pregnant. We went to DC the next day and walked the mall so if we didn't burn enough the day before we got it with the day after. Basically I was feeling proud since I haven't exercised since the half marathon in April.
